The virus that causes 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is easily transmitted through person to person contact, especially in group settings, and it is essential that the spread of the virus be slowed to protect the ability of public and private health care providers to handle the influx of new patients and safeguard public health and safety. Because of the risk of the rapid spread of the virus, and the need to protect the most vulnerable members of the community. this ORDER requires all individuals anywhere in Bell County to SHELTER IN PLACE--that is, STAY AT HOME-except for certain essentials activities and work to provide essential business and government services.....until April 30, 2020 and may be extended.
Bell County Directive 5 on April 3, 2020

The Bell County Website (https://www.bellcountytx.com/) has changed their “Home Page” to address COVID19. On it is the County Judge’s Disaster Declaration (attached hereto) and his televised conference.
Texas Municipal League has a list of Resources for the COVID19 outbreak (https://www.tml.org/654/Coronavirus-COVID-19-Resources) which include emergency changes to the State laws which have been enacted by the Governor. This information is more for community leadership, but the information is public and I am certainly okay with making it available on our website.
The Governor of Texas Website (https://dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/) has information about the statewide disaster declaration and what that means for everyone.
And the CDC Website as well (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html)
